Former DSP’s Son Arrested in Jalandhar PNB Bank Robbery Case!

On April 6, the PNB Bank located in Bank Enclave Phase-2 on Kukki Dhaba Road in Khurla Kingra, Jalandhar was robbed, in which a case of robbery of approximately Rs 6 lakhs came to light. Recently, the police have solved this case. Police have arrested one of the two thieves, from whom Rs 3 lakhs were recovered.

The police traced the robbery case within a few hours of its investigation. The arrested accused robber Simranjit Singh is a resident of Green Model Town, a posh area of ​​Jalandhar and is the son of retired DSP Harbhajan Singh. The robber Simranjit was a drug addict, who committed this crime due to his drug addiction. Two accused were involved in this case, one of whom has been arrested.

Police Commissioner Dhanpreet Kaur informed that immediately after the robbery, an investigation was launched under the leadership of DCP Manpreet Dhillon, ADCP Rakesh Yadav, ACP Amarbir Singh, ACP Sanjay Kumar, and Crime Branch Incharge Sarabjit Singh.

Based on the information received, the police team arrested Simranjit Singh alias Amrik Singh, a resident of Green Model Town. Weapons and the looted money were recovered from the accused. Police said that the second robber is being searched for and will be arrested soon.
