Recently, a case has come to light in Jalandhar in which robbers robbed a bank. This incident happened around 2 pm. Two robbers entered the bank and approached a cashier and demanded all the cash. When the cashier refused, the robber threatened to kill him. After which the cashier handed over all the cash.
This incident took place in broad daylight on April 6th at Punjab National Bank in Jalandhar. Two robbers arrived on scooters and had their faces covered. One robber kept watch outside the bank, while the other went inside and demanded cash from the cashier.
When the cashier refused to give the money, the robber threatened to shoot and pointed the gun at him. The cashier then handed over all the cash to the robber. The robber took the bag full of money from the cash counter and ran away with it. There were customers in the bank at that time.

CCTV footage of the robbery also surfaced, in which the accused is seen coming out of the bank with the bag full of money. Both robbers had their faces covered and left on a scooter.
As soon as the information about the robbery in the bank was received, DCP Manpreet Singh Dhillon reached there with the police team and started investigating the matter. DCP Manpreet Singh Dhillon stated that the incident occurred at 2:30 p.m. Two robbers arrived on a scooter and went to a bank and demanded money from the cashier. When the cashier refused, they threatened him with a gun and fled with the bag full of money.
Police stated that 3-4 customers were present in the bank at the time of the robbery. One robber was committing the robbery inside the bank, while the other was keeping watch outside. The staff was counting the stolen cash. The police have deployed separate teams to apprehend the robbers. Police say that the robbers will be caught soon.
