On March 31st, a post by an organization claiming responsibility for the blast went viral. In the post, the Khalistan Liberation Army (KLA) claimed responsibility for the blast at the Bhindi Saidan police station. The post read:
“Two grenade attacks were carried out at the Bhindi Saidan police station, seriously injuring three policemen. We, the KLA, take responsibility for this. This attack was carried out to avenge the murder of Ranjit Singh (village Adian, Gurdaspur). This action will continue and be intensified. The post also warned DIG Sandeep Goyal.”
According to reports, the blast occurred between 1:30 and 2:00 a.m. on the night of March 30th and 31st. The sound of the explosion has created an atmosphere of fear in the area around the police station. Since the incident, the police station gate has been locked from the inside, and security has been increased.
